It was a great pleasure to host the Thrings’ Breakfast debate on Feb 5th, in the magnificent We The Curious on Bristol’s harbourside.
An audience of 95 joined the debate fronted by an expert panel, Arun Shaunak from Avon Needs Trees, Zoe Davies of the West of England Nature Partnership, Ed Rowberry from Bristol and Bath Regional Capital, and Jon Sankey, whose company Vattenfall are creating a first in Bristol, connecting large buildings, and domestic homes, with energy via city scale, low carbon heat networks.
The conversation balanced creating a vibrant and competitive leading city, but doing it sustainably and by preserving the biodiversity.
Watch this space for the next one!!
