It was inspiring to run a full-day Practical Media Masterclass for the NIHR Oxford Health Biomedical Research Centre Senior Fellows and Senior Researchers.
A big thanks to Andreia Costa, who leads the training and career development, for organising the course- she said:
“The session was led by the brilliant Caroline and Steve le Fevre , both highly experienced broadcasters who brought their wealth of expertise – and even a radio and TV studio setup – to help participants sharpen their media interview skills across both formats. The energy and enthusiasm in the room were truly inspiring from start to finish! An engaging, high impact session.”
NIHR Biomedical Research Centres bring together academics and clinicians to translate lab-based discoveries into potential new treatments, diagnostics and technologies. They create a platform to deliver high quality experimental medicine research focused on new treatments and procedures to improve mental health conditions and patients’ lives.
